Surgilite Bariatric Management Services

The headquarters of Surgilite Bariatric Management is located at 22525 Maple Avenue, Suite 102, in Torrance, CA 90505 and a satellite office location in Sacramento at 1 Scripps Drive, Suite 107, in Sacramento, CA 95825.

The goal of Surgilite is to provide an information and referral source for individuals considering bariatric (weight loss) surgical treatment. During the process interested patients are carefully screened in order to determine if surgery is medically necessary. This includes insurance verification, authorization and pre-certification, extensive pre and post operative support before and after surgery, respectively, coordinate bariatric surgical services between hospital and participating surgeons and other related physicians.

Meet The Manager

Dr. Popoola received his Doctor of medicine degree from the university of Illinois Medical School, Chicago, IL. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Popoola has practiced Bariatric Surgery for over 20 years. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, the International Federation for the Surgery of the Obese, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, and was a past Foundation Board Member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons.
