To provide information for individuals researching surgical weight loss options and to facilitate each patient toward making an informed decision regarding bariatric surgery.

Surgilite Bariatric Management (Surgilite) is a referral and information source for patients considering bariatric (weight loss) surgical treatment and is not a medical practice; its members do not perform the surgical procedures. Surgilite refers patients to qualified surgeons performing gastric bypass and/or laparoscopic gastric banding procedures. Patients will be seen at the Surgilite facility which is offered for the surgeon’s use in managing patient care and for the convenience of patients. Surgilite will provide preliminary information to help patients understand the importance of this life-changing decision. This information includes but is not limited to: the nature of obesity surgery, options for treatment of morbid obesity and surgical weight loss procedure options.
